Job Title: Nightlife and Bars Manager

Position Summary
The Nightlife and Bars Manager is responsible for the management and direction of the bars operation, including Tropicana and Beacher’s Madhouse. Key responsibility areas include department performance, increased sales and profitability, effective cost controls and development, and training and retention of key employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper stocking of wine, liquor, mixers, fruit, etc. at the bars
- Maintain income and expense logs
- Liaise with the kitchen staff for food items/orders
- Ensure proper security arrangement
- Constantly work to improve the hygiene standards and service at the bar
- Create new and innovative ideas to boost bars income
- Train and guide new staff
- Review bar operations, plan special events and set liquor prices
- Plan staff schedules
- Plan promotions and offers to increase the customer base of the bars
- Handle all guest service issues in an immediate and professional manner
- Perform all administration duties including processing payroll timely
- Ensure that the bars comply with relevant state and federal guidelines
- Deliver excellent customer service in an efficient manner
- Maintain updated knowledge of hotel and general local area information
- Act in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within guest view
- Develop and maintain positive communication and teamwork with all co-workers and supervisors
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Work Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to five years of related management experience. Nightclub experience ideal.
- Previous Hospitality Industry experience preferred
